We’ll be at Raleigh Brewing (3709 Neil St. in Raleigh). This is near NCSU. \nWhat:\n-casual lunch\n-“speed-friending” for 30 minutes\nand for those who wish to participate in additional activities\, there will also be a:\n-baked-goods swap AND Blind-Date-With-a-Book activity \nWe’ll enjoy wraps & chips from Harris Teeter ($3 per person) as we mingle with one another (bring a side to share if you wish!). \nDrinks (alcoholic and non) can be purchased at Raleigh Brewing. \nAfter eating\, we’ll transition into a time of “speed-friending.” (you can expect to talk in a thoughtful\, 1-1 way\, with a few different ladies). \nIf you wish to participate in the baked goods swap or blind-date-with-a-book: \nBaked Goods Swap\nMake cookies\, cupcakes or something that can be cut into pieces. Bring a zip lock bag or small container to take sweet treats brought by others as they partake of yours! \nBlind-Date-With-a-Book\nBring a new or gently used book (one you’ve read and enjoyed!)  and wrap it in plain brown paper. On the front\, write: Fiction/Non-fiction/genre. Then write 2-3 phrases\, providing a general description of the book without revealing too much (do not provide the title!)! She’ll provide the exact address before the dinner. \n___________________ \n*What is “Come As You Are” ? It’s an ongoing monthly rotation where different Table members host 3 women in their home in a given month for a casual dinner —- no dressing up\, no cleaning the house\, no fancy menu. Just a 2 hour window (when it’s your turn to host—you’ll choose the date and start time) to casually hang out and eat a low-stress meal together.  \n\nMenu: Make it simple. Soup & sandwiches\, etc. You can do takeout if you prefer\, or ask participants to make it a potluck.  WHO is around the table is more important than WHAT is being served. And if you don’t have a table\, that’s fine! You can gather on the floor or couch.  \n\nWho: These are “fluid” groups—you’re not always with the same individuals. \n\nHosting: Every person who signs up for Come As You Are must also be a host in their own home. You can expect to host 1 (maybe twice) a year.
