If you have a Gmail (Google) account
- Click the meeting link you received (it looks like
https://meet.google.com/).ooq-sdye-zto - You’ll be taken to the Meet page. If you’re already signed in to Gmail, the browser will open the meeting automatically.
- Click “Join now.”
- Turn on/off your camera and microphone before entering, then hit “Ask to join” if the host requires approval.
Tip: If you’re on a mobile device, you can open the link in the Google Meet app (available for iOS and Android) for a smoother experience.
If you don’t have a Gmail account
- Click the same meeting link (
https://meet.google.com/).ooq-sdye-zto - On the landing page, look for “Join as a guest” (or “Continue on this browser”).
- Enter your name (this is what others will see) and click “Ask to join.”
- The host will admit you, and you’ll be in the meeting.
- As with a Gmail account, you can adjust your camera/mic settings before joining.
